Hobbyist Projects
This is a collection of works I have created for non-profit purposes. You are welcome to enjoy them. If you do not enjoy them, then I suggest you take a short cat into a long /dev/null.
Software
Most of what I write is just to fill in some basic gaps on my system: tools I want that no one else has made available. Nothing I have code, with the exception of libPirate, is terribly innovative or revolutionary. If anything here turns out to be beneficial to more people than myself, awesome.
Game Translations
I wasted ten years of my life translating games for the unappreciative masses. I’ve finished quite a few, and dropped many others. I abandoned this hobby in June of 2007. Anything incomplete as of that date will likely stay incomplete unless someone else volunteers to help finish. I do not accept ideas for new projects, and I will not join you to help you work on yours.
Hardware
These are pictures of hardware projects I stuck together. Some worked well, others … not so well. Short descriptions are given for each.
Documentation
Much like my software, most things I have documented I have done so simply because no one else bothered. The result is, I’ve documented some very, very odd things. Pin-outs for chips with minuscule production runs; file formats present only in one game; internal information in the Broadcast Satellaview X binaries … you get the idea.
Game Guides
Once upon a time, I was a contributing writer for GameFAQs. I took my toys and went home when the administrator refused to add Chinese PC games to the listing despite my submitting far more complete profiles than most Japanese games in his index have. These guides will likely never be updated, and most are mirrored on GameFAQs.
